Modular Home Assistant Stand

Modular Home Assistant Stand

thingiverse

Since I did not like the fact of my Echo Dot 2 lying around somwhere on my shelf or cupboard without really seeing it, I started designing a simple case for it with a rail attached. With this rail it should be able to create mounts for every use-case :) For starters I added a simple stand, which works quite well. I designed this to get a tight fit, so the Dot won't fall out. Maybe you'll have to sand away a tiny bit to get it fitting. Print the stand lying on the flat side, so there is no need for supports. I also added a - Not Tested - adapter for a Nest Mini 2. Since the Nest is a bit bigger than the Echo, you'll have to use the stand sideways. The two ceiling mounts are a proof-of-concept and I did not print them. But they might be a good starting point for remixes.
