Modular Golf Putter with interchangeable Heads
thingiverse
Hey all, I'm a beginner at both golf and printing, so I thought I'd give making my own putter a shot. You can print as many shaft parts as you want, which means you can make your putter any length you like. I called mine "Shafty," but that's probably not the best name ever. The good news is that the parts all fit together with screws, so you can assemble everything easily. Plus, if you get tired of one putter head, you can just swap it out for another one. I found some circular weights that I could add to the putter head at home, but they're also pretty easy to find in a hardware store. You can use as many or as few of these weights as you want, depending on how heavy you want your putter head to be. After testing my putter on the green for the first time, I realized it was way too light. So, if you're making one just like mine, I'd recommend printing with 100% infill to give it a bit more heft. Later on, I decided to add another putter head to my collection, which I called Saber Tooth.
