With these files you can build and assemble several combinations of camera tripods. Four basic modules are provided : • Simple Head • Rotating Head • Simple Leg • Sliding Leg *Three legs are required for a given head.* With the Simple Head you can attach directly a camera on the head with a 1/4 inch camera screw (see a suggested item in the pictures) or fix a camera ballhead on the same screw. With the Rotating Head you don't need an additional ballhead to adjust the angle of the camera. With the files provided you can print two versions of the Rotating head, depending on the bolts you have available. *Have a look at the 'Rotating Head parts' sketch to understand the required STL files for each version.* The Sliding Legs can be individually extended to nearly the double of their length. ---------- **You will need bolts and nuts to assemble the parts together.** For fixing a camera or a ball-head you will need: • One 1/4" camera screw *See the picture of the one I suggest* For the assembling of any combination of head and legs you will need: • Three M3 CHC/BTR 20mm bolt and nut (lock nut advised) For the assembling the Rotationg Head you will need: • One M3 CHC/BTR 25mm bolt and nut (lock nut advised) and either • One M5 Hex 45mm bolt and nut (lock nut advised) or • One M5 CHC/BTR 40mm bolt and nut (lock nut advised) *See the 'Rotating Head parts' sketch to understand the two versions* For the assembling of each Sliding Leg you will need: • One M2 CHC/BTR 20mm bolt and nut ----------- **Printing hints** Some parts will require supports to be printed properly. If supports are required, use "Supports on build-plate only". D'ont use "Supports everywhere" or you will end up with the holes required for assembly clogged with filament. *Please refer to the sketch explaining my suggestion for positioning the parts on the printer and the required supports.* I printed all my parts with 25% infill and got sturdy and light models. The two parts of the Sliding Leg might need some sanding in order to slide smoothly with the right amount of friction.
