Hi everyone, I'm excited to share this modular flasks project with you! It all started when I wanted to create my own metal casting flask from aluminum. To make that happen, I needed a pattern to cast the individual parts, which led me to explore 3D printing reusable and interchangeable modules for sand casting. The idea is simple yet powerful: by combining different modules in various orders, you can create unique patterns with precise sizes tailored to your specific needs. This approach has worked well on my own printer, but I recommend printing a few small extension pieces (40mm) beforehand to ensure the parts fit together seamlessly.
