Modular Filament Spool Holder
thingiverse
This is a versatile filament spool holder that can accommodate multiple spools, up to 2 or 3 (picture 5). To create the basic version (picture 3), you will need: 2x baseplates 2x walls 2x foot 1 1x foot 2 1x foot 3 1x shaft thing 1 1x shaft thing 2 - Note: Please remove any self-generated supports, also known as the "wings of the rocket" to ensure a good print. 2x shaft 3 (centering cone) 1x filament guide with filter (compatible with 1.75 and 3 mm filament) Additionally, you will need a threaded rod M5, along with 2 nuts and 2 washers for added stability. The threaded rod is typically placed near the walls' connection. For reference, please see picture 5. The required length of the threaded rod depends on the number of levels in your spool holder. To build an additional level or second spool holder, you will need 2 walls, 1 baseplate, the shaft things, and the filament guide. This completes the standing spool holder description. You can also construct it using a lying orientation (featured picture), which does not require foot components; however, for enhanced safety, consider adding the "protection for lying construction." Use the provided pictures as your guide for assembly. I have explained these instructions thoroughly, and I wish you good luck with printing and building. Be sure to read through the instructions carefully before starting to ensure a successful print.
