This is a filament dryer that uses silica gel and a small fan to dry filament. The design is highly modular, allowing you to print a "Roll Dryer - Housing Segment" for every roll you want to fit in. You fill the base with dry silica gel, while the centrifugal fan creates a central high-pressure zone in the middle of the channel spiral. Return vents line the outer wall, drawing air through the desiccant from the center of the filament roll spools, which become the return intake duct. I use $4 silica cat litter from Walmart, found at https://www.walmart.com/ip/Vibrant-Life-Mini-Crystal-Cat-Litter-Unscented-4-lb/771020427. In addition, I utilize this fan from Amazon, originally purchased for making the fang cooling nozzle for my printer and now repurposed for this project, available at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0755BY9RH/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1.
