I searched for similar camera mounts but wanted something more rigid than assembling GoPro pieces together. I also sought a design that could accommodate different "heads". This is the result, inspired by thing:2967380, where the GoPro component originated. The head connector at the end features a 10mm by 10mm hole that extends 12mm deep with built-in clearance. This allows you to attach a block of the same size to any desired connector. I plan to create a holder for a Logitech C70, and I will upload that STL as soon as it's completed.
