Modular Dungeon Walls
thingiverse
This collection features various scale dungeon components, designed with a 30mm grid in mind as it suits the user's preference for wall placement. The walls are 4mm thick and fit into squares measuring 26mm, resulting in a 30mm grid. Inspired by existing dungeon models, this design aims to make the structures more modular, flexible, and versatile. Multi-level models will be possible with these walls, which can connect at any ordinate angle without the need for specialized pieces like corners or T-junctions. However, convenience pieces may still be made available. The creator plans on adding more designs as they are finished. An improvement in the works is the incorporation of small pockets in the floor and wall pieces to accommodate magnets. These magnets would enable the floor tiles to adhere better to metal surfaces and potentially facilitate stacking walls vertically. Most parts have been printed, with some modifications made for enhanced printability. Hinge pieces no longer have holes, requiring post-processing for adding pins (paper clips suggested). Instructions include gluing together two-part components and using door hinges with a pin (suggested options are sewing pins or cut paperclips). Base parts are no longer necessary as walls can now stand on their own until locked into place by floor tiles.
