In my drawer layout, I have some fairly short divider lengths. It's handier to be able to join two long connectors together. I modified the original OpenSCAD design file to provide options for male/female of fittings on all connectors. You can see an example in the OpenSCAD screen capture and STL attached. The option can be selected separately for the east, north, west, south fitting, with the compass direction indicating what's seen in OpenSCAD rendering (at least for those of us in the northern hemisphere). The male/female option is ignored for the zero-length connector because there would never be room. For all other connectors, it's up to you to make sure there is room for any female fittings. The male/female option is not used for any of the dividers. A straight connector with two female fittings is the same as a straight divider of equivalent length.I sent a pull request to the original author on github (https://github.com/wbu/drawer_organizer/pull/15). Until/unless the modification is merged, you can find the OpenSACD file at https://github.com/wjcarpenter/drawer_organizer/blob/m_f_connectors/drawer_organizer.scad (that will disappear if the PR gets merged).
