This modular door access scanner design enables creation of various door access scanners with minimal plastic injection molds. The keypad or swipe can be removed and replaced by an insert piece. The main scanner housing contains a main PCB board with an antenna, to which all inserts connect via their respective parts' interfaces. LEDs on the top and bottom of the main PCB board illuminate "ENTRY" or "NO ENTRY," with light projected through thinned plastic using the center rib on the scanner cover piece. Note that the last two assemblies may be incorrect in the online viewer, as components are missing.
