Modular Display Box

Are your amazing little figurines drowning in storage? Are they displayed but lost on a giant shelf? Or do you have them crammed into a giant piece of furniture and taking up floor space? Display your little friends with pride with this modular storage box! Print as many as you want. You can have them sit on a shelf or a desk or hang them on your wall. (The wall mount shown uses just one nail for the center box. If your sculpture is balanced it will hang nice and secure from one spot. If unsymmetrical is your style you'll need two nails). I use them for mini figures but you can scale to whatever size you want. Just keep the same size for each wall sculpture so they fit together. Reduce filament use by reducing infill or using the no back versions. Note there are several stl files on here. Use one, some or all for your design. Play with colors! The dovetail fittings look great in contrasting colors. stl files: main--use this for most of your boxes, it has the nail holes and dovetail slides and fit together great. straight slots--dovetail slides only fit together one way! (male has to start in front). doh. Difficult if you want a solid structure. Use the straight slot box to fill in the gaps. This will make sense once you start putting them together. smooth back--in case you don't want the nail holes no back--just for fun or if you want to cut down the printing time. Just a note, after making these I saw AJsRaceway's hexagonal minifig boxes (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3338499) and did a face palm. Hexagons! Of course! So check out my remix.
