#studentdesignchallenge My modular desk organizer is a nice organizer that can hold many of you school supplies. It is a customizable desk organizer. You can put each part where you wish. There are 5 pieces in total but they amount to around one hundred combinations. I came across many problems when making this, one being time. the other was the measurements, I was afraid that this would take up so much plastic and that the measurements would be off. In Tinkercad, the pieces seemed to be able to fit, but when I printed them, they expanded and stopped fitting. Warping was also a problem because it caused many pieces to not fit together. If i were to redesign. I would change the measurements for the "zipper connectors" that hold it together. That way, if it warped or expanded, it would still fit. 3D printing it would make it stronger because the plastic is strong enough to withstand the pressure that one may need to put to connect the pieces.(if it warps or expands too much)
