Modular CyBot posable toy
youmagine
This is the basic robot toy built around joints and connections designed for the Cymon robot toy, created to be easily printable on home FDM printers. The robot is fully posable and customizable unlike other designs, where the goal was home FDM printer compatibility. CyBot prints without supports and assembles quickly. To ensure a proper fit, separate the small ball and joint piece from the plate and print two of them, then check if they snap together easily. If they don't fit well, adjust your filament diameter setting: lower it slightly if they're too tight, raise it slightly if they're too loose. When assembling the robot, glue the shoulder and hip joints into the hips and torso before attaching the rest of the parts. After connecting two parts for the first time, hold them firmly and rotate them fully in their joint to smooth out any rough edges.
