Modular Butterfly Knife (Multiple blades and handles)

Thought this would be a nice thing to design and put my own twists on, so here I present yet another buttery knife thing here. I will be designing a lot of blades and handles for these. I have found it's best to use a mini round file to get the exact fit to the pins on the blades as that will vary for everyone and by how your printer is tuned up. No support is needed for the blades, minimal support for the handles depending on the design Blades Included: - Straight point blade - Curved tip Solid blade - Training blade (thick and rounded with holes) - Training blade Alternate Tapered and rounded with holes - Comb Blade (Comes out fantastic) - Added a vented version of my blade - Added a training version of my blade (lol) - Added a Saw back Variant - January-23-2021 Blade with holes instead of a fuller - January-24-2021 Saw back, serrated blade with cut outs - January-26-2021 No Blade connector, a simple segment to just give you the handles (good for taking out places as there is no blade but it still functions as it should) Handles included: - Angular cut - Solid handles - Holy handles (batman) lol. - Handles with extra weight notches (m3 nuts glued in) - January-24-2021 Handles with angle cut outs - January-25-2021 Hex Handles added (set supports to 70 degrees, LONG print time for these but they look nice (printing now) ) - January-25-2021 Inset Solid handles Assembly: - To put this together you will need 3 m3x8 bolts with nuts (m6 might work with some effort) then just work it in. - Handle lock can mount on either side depending on your use Optional: - I added a dab of hot glue to the end of the nuts after they were installed so they don't work themselves off (since they are threaded they will) then I can easily remove that to change blades or handles) What's coming soon: - More blades (5 or 6 more) - More Handle designs (at least a dozen more) If you enjoy my prints or remixes please consider becoming a Patron! https://www.patreon.com/rkxdesigns Becoming a patron gets you early access to files and opportunities to get involved with the creative process.
