The modular design focuses on creating a compact device with two options: the Compact Model and the Complete Model, featuring a magnetic card reader. The body consists of two parts - a wall bracket and the main body housing essential electronic components like the circuit board, contactless antenna, speaker, keyboard, and LED display. After coupling these two sections using recommended screws, an aluminum cover is used to encase the device. This cover is divided into top and bottom halves, sliding into grooves made in the body and secured with screws. For the Complete Model, a USB adapter is placed in a designated slot on the right side of the device and may be coupled directly to the board or through a data bus. The card reader's body also features two parts and requires a modified housing. The upper part houses the magnetic card reader and USB connection, while the lower part continues the card slot. Key features include an inclined screen for easy reading, a contactless credential antenna on the left side, a backlit LED keypad with braille overlay (also illuminating the arrow of the magnet card reader in the complete model), a bottom opening for speaker sound output, and a display with illuminated LED messages protected by a tempered glass panel. Design considerations include leaving central space for wiring in the wall mount, varying models based on specific needs, and modifying the aluminum housing for outdoor use. Standard components from the assembly drawings are not included in the IGES files, but enough space has been left inside the body to accommodate them. The electronic components like the speaker, LED panel, contactless antenna have been left with ample room. Although no internal anchors were designed due to lack of specific board details, the body provides enough space for the circuit board. The USB adapter does not have internal anchors but can connect directly to an extension of the board or through a data bus. A USB port was chosen for its compact size and ability to send both power and data, although other ports could be viable. IGES files for each component are provided, along with fully assembled Complete and Compact models (excluding standard components).
