Modular ball track / marble run for 8mm balls
prusaprinters
I designed the tracks and stands to be made from 3mm acrylic nominally 2.5 mm in my case and cut them on a laser cutter. The tracks slip into the holders and a little cs glue holds them together. Its experimental so feel free to adjust the heights. Each track drops about 5 to 6 mm for a continuous roll. The spiral dish is made using a 3D printer and has 3 holes in the centre so the balls can pass out of the edges in 3 directions. I made a small dish first but altered it to the present size which should fit most 3D printer beds. I printed at 205 x 60 C in PLA with a 0.2 mm layer height and lightning support in Cura 5. The bowl needed a little sanding. Print time about 9 hours. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/CH0KGq9XV1U
