Modular Arms v01
thingiverse
This is a versatile modular design arm, engineered to assist with precision soldering or provide an extra hand to securely hold items in place. The design comprises two standard arms, ideal for holding a phone steady during filming thanks to its stability. The lengths are adjustable: a 100 mm arm (measuring 80 mm c-to-c) and a 200 mm arm (spanning 180 mm c-to-c). Modular components include duo and quad arms, allowing users to easily switch between two or four arm configurations. Base options cater to various needs: * A table clamp securely holds items up to 40 mm thick * A tripod base features non-rotating roller feet for added stability Additional holders provide flexibility: * A phone holder accommodates devices with widths ranging from 55 to 85 mm * A peg holder requires a standard clothes peg spring (not included) * A mini clamp offers precise gripping capabilities Printing Tips: Only one part necessitates supports: the table clamp nut. This allows for smooth swiveling without movement or slippage during tightening. All other parts can be printed with no supports, provided they are oriented correctly. Specific printing instructions: * The phone holder is printed upright with a brim to ensure secure adhesion and precise placement.
