Modular Ant Platform - 30mm Base Stand I've created a modular ant platform that consists of two versions, each with unique features. The first version has pointed legs, perfect for dirt or sand-based environments, as they can be easily buried into the ground to maintain balance. In contrast, the second version boasts flat feet, ideal for acrylic or grout bases. I've developed numerous feeders that are designed to seamlessly integrate with this platform, allowing users to swap them out effortlessly. This feature caters to different ant species and feeding requirements. The modular design of this platform is intentionally crafted to be printed in two separate parts, thereby minimizing the need for supports during the printing process. A small amount of glue is required to secure the top ring into place. Post-Processing: If you're experiencing issues with ants struggling to climb or slipping on the slope, a simple solution exists. Apply some PVA glue and sprinkle a layer of sand over it, as depicted in the accompanying photo. This modification will ensure stable footing for your ants.
