Modular 120mm airpath for 2020 3030 extrusions
thingiverse
While waiting for parts to make a few plastic extruders, I figured I'd just face mount some case fans to some extrusions and make sure my airpath was all solid, but then i wanted to space it w/ some brackets to make it nicer and add a shroud like some of the more professional looking lyman clones, then i just kept finding more random things to tweek and this is what i ended up with x) can be configured with however many fans and however you want above or below or what not. The shroud has a guide for m3 screws and holes. The brackets have a nonut version u can thread m4 right into. There is also a clip on proof of concept guide thats probobly at wrong height for no shroud setup just in case you need it, assuming you need a guide at all. Fans I used apparnetly didnt have enough static pressure for the shrouds to help much. The shroud tends to crack easily if abused, but still functions even after being cracks.
