Modular 1 dl and 15 cl scoop
thingiverse
I made a modular scoop/spoon 1 dl and 15 cl sizes (and some diameter sizes also) were you buy and use a threaded steel rod either 10 mm or 8 mm in diameter. You might also be able to 3d-print one yourself but I found that to be unnecessary since they are so cheap. The scoops you can choose from in the stl.files are the following: scoop_1dl_8mmrod.stl = A scoop 1 deciliter in volume where you attach a steel rod with the diameter 8 mm. Cut the steel rod to the desired length to get your spoon. scoop_1dl_10mmrod = A scoop 1 deciliter in volume where you attach a steel rod with the diameter 10 mm. Cut the steel rod to the desired length scoop_15cl_8mmrod.stl = A scoop 15 centiliter in volume where you attach a steel rod with the diameter 8 mm. Cut it to the desired length. I never made a scoop 15 cl for a steel rod 10 mm because I thought it looked ugly with a 10 mm rod. scoop42mmDiameter_8mmrod.stl = scoop 42 mm in diameter for a threaded steel rod 8 mm in diameter. scoop_60mmDiameter_rod10mm_version1 = same logic as above. This version I had the part you attach the steel rod grooved if you think it looks better. scoop_60mmDiamter_rod10mm_version2 = same logic as above. This version I had the part you attach the steel rod smooth if you think it looks better. scoop_75mmDiameter_10mmrod = same logic as above. scoop_75mmDiamter_8mmrod = same logic as above. middlepart_13mmLenght_8mmrod.stl = If you do not want the steel rod to be visible you have to print as many of these parts to cover the 8 mm steel rod you attached. It looks cool if you mix filament colors according to me. This middle part is 13 mm in length and fit the 8 mm steel rod. middlepart_15mmLenght_rod10mm_version1 = same logic as above fit for a rod 10 mm in diameter. This version is grooved. middlepart_15mmLenght_rod10mm_version2 = same as above. This version is smooth. endpart_hanger_8mmrod_version1 = the end part you attach to be able to hang the coffee scoop/spoon to a hook. This version is grooved. Fit for a 8 mm steel rod. endpart_hanger_8mmrod_version2 = same as above. This version is smooth. Fit for a 8 mm steel rod. endpart_hanger_10mmrod = end part for a 10 mm steel rod. I only made a smooth surface for this version. To summarize if you want a functional spoon you are able to hang to a hook you print two parts. The threaded steel rod will be visible. If you want to hide it you have to print the middle part a numerous of times depending on how long rod you have. Feel free to comment and I will try to answer your questions. I hope you liked my design!
