I purchased some calipers for my XY-table on my drill stand and intend to upgrade them in the future by adding a display. As I am not skilled in soldering on breadboards, I re-designed the original plan from scratch and created a small PCB (65mm x 65mm) using Fritzing. Hopefully, everything is wired correctly. 2017-09-16: A second PCB (65mm x 55mm) has been added. The display I have available features an i2c connection, so this PCB should accommodate it and the remaining digital and analog ports are free for use. I would like to extend my gratitude to Scrachi, who created the base for this PCB - a big thumbs up! (the STL files used are from Scrachi) Update 2017-10-10 I adapted the ino-file from Scrachi to utilize the NewLiquidCrystal-Library from https://bitbucket.org/fmalpartida/new-liquidcrystal/downloads/ The LCD address can be determined using this simple sketch from https://playground.arduino.cc/Main/I2cScanner I double-checked my work and hope I made no mistakes.
