Modpack for Quadruped Mini
cults3d
Here I share my modifications done to the Mini Quadruped from TheCASE. I've made some significant changes, starting with the backbone of the robot. Now it's equipped with a 6V battery pack, powered by two AA batteries. This upgrade provides a more reliable source of energy for the entire system. On top of the battery pack, I've added a sturdy mounting plate that adds extra support and stability to the entire structure. This modification has also made it easier to attach other components or accessories in the future. To improve the robot's overall balance and stability, I've replaced the original legs with hexagonal ones. These new legs provide a wider base of support, making the Mini Quadruped even more agile and responsive. Currently, both the Arduino board and the servos are being powered by the same power source from the Adafruit board. While this setup works for now, I'm not convinced it's the most efficient way to do things. If you have any suggestions or ideas, please let me know. The program code is still a work in progress, but I've made some initial progress and wanted to share my first results with you.
