Modpack for Quadruped Mini
thingiverse
I've made several adjustments to TheCASE's Mini Quadruped. Firstly, I changed the backbone to accommodate a 6V battery (2x AA batteries) and added a mounting plate on top of the battery pack for better stability. Secondly, the legs have been altered for enhanced support with a hexagonal design. Currently, the Arduino board and servos are powered by the same source from the Adafruid board; however, I'm unsure if this is the most optimal setup. Your suggestions would be appreciated. As for now, here's a video of my progress: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_4LRIga8Ag I've also listed the components used in my project: Arduino Micro board, Adafruid 16-Channel 12-bit PWM/Servo Driver - I2C interface - PCA9685, IR Receiver module TSOP34838 for 38kHz, Ultrasonic distance sensor module HC-SR04, and a 2x2 battery box (search "Batteriefach 4x R6 Batterien Akkus Ladebox Ladefach" on eBay.de). For the battery backbone assembly, use the printed parts along with 2 M3 bolts and nuts to assemble the battery backbone and mounting plate. Make two 3.2 mm holes in a breadboard using a driller and secure it with the same bolts and nuts. Finally, insert the battery box and fasten it with the clamps at the bottom. Please let me know if you have any ideas for improvement and I'm still working on the program code.
