ModMic

UPDATED V1.1 Added basic file that is just the core without extra features for a budget microphone, also made the magnet hole bigger. I designed this because I was too tight-fisted to buy a genuine mic when I had a decently working low-cost headset. To cut a long story short, I duplicated the Real mod mic design and simply printed it to screw into my existing low-cost headset, then attached it to my Sony headphones with 3m tape. I used 8mm magnets from Amazon and hot glue to secure them in place; I'll update this if they don't hold up after extensive use. Printed on January 10th Now January 21st no signs of wear or failure after daily use. February 17th still no issues magnet fell out of the mic end but a quick fix just re-heated the glue and stuck it back in. April 11th No issues adhesive pad still holds and hot glue has not given way November 11th the adhesive gave out on the headphone side a couple months ago, so I screwed it into my headphones. One of the magnets inside the headphone side gave out and needed to be re-glued
