Modifiziertes Vorderrad zur besseren Hindernisüberwindung - Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo 950 (Modified front wheel for better overcoming obstacles)
thingiverse
Human: I've created an alternative front wheel for the vacuum cleaner robot Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo 950, aiming to make obstacle navigation easier. At door thresholds and skirting boards, or when encountering hard obstacles, the robot often slips sideways with its original front wheel, failing to clear the hurdle. To solve this problem, I designed a wheel featuring a vertical herringbone pattern that digs into the edge of the skirting board. This allows the robot to climb up and stay suspended safely without sliding. The wheel should be printed in flexible TPU or TPE material, offering improved suspension over the original. When encountering obstacles, shocks are absorbed and won't cause the robot to bounce off. Several users have tested this wheel within the German community and found it effective. I'm sharing it here for your benefit, see https://www.roboter-forum.com/index.php?thread/40042-modifikation-vorderrad/&pageNo=2#post534342. Although I only own one Deebot Ozmo 950, there's a possibility this wheel will fit other Deebot models, like the Ozmo 930.
