Modified Tufts-Love Tyrannosaurus rex, University of Washington Burke Museum 99000 stands tall. The 66-million-year-old skull is a prized find, nicknamed the “Tufts-Love” T. rex after Luke Tufts and Jason Love, two Burke Museum volunteers who discovered it on BLM-managed land in northern Montana's Hell Creek Formation back in 2016. One of approximately 15 known T. rex skulls in the world, this remarkable specimen is a true gem.
