I built a custom belt drive with a bearing ring to prevent the frame from rubbing against the belt. This unique modification was my own idea, and I'm proud to say it's self-made. To create the ring, I used my lathe machine, but you can also use a 3D printer for an alternative approach. The necessary components include a bearing, which can be sourced from old devices like bad Winchester or CD/DVD drives, as well as various parts from a DIY store such as furniture tension bolts, spring washers, and nuts. In the Belt_ring_v1.stl file, you'll find that the inner diameter of the ring is designed to match the size of the bearing used. However, for the y-axis solution, I realized that a different approach was needed.
