Modified TF2 Wingman
thingiverse
My personally customized version of the Titanfall 2 Wingman features heavily modified components. I replaced the grip with a 1911-style grip and reworked the scales, modifying their size and shape accordingly. The original rails were swapped out for Picatinny-sized rails to provide greater versatility. Furthermore, the hammer was removed as it didn't make sense in this context. Each part is designed to be assembled using pegs and holes strategically placed throughout the various pieces. Eventually, there will be spaces within these parts for electronics integration, allowing this custom model to mimic a real firearm's functionality. The LED light at the back of the barrel will serve as a trigger indicator, and it will require an opening in the barrel for installation. I'd like to extend credit to nzfreemo for his initial TF2 Wingman design, which served as the foundation for my creation. 11/3/18 After printing this model, I realized that the grip was slightly too short. In response, I rebuilt it to be longer and redesigned the scales to complement its new size. The original components have been renamed with "short" in their designation to distinguish them from the updated versions. 11/5/18 To accommodate printers with smaller print beds, split versions of the bottom part and top part have been added. These split parts feature a peg and hole for easy assembly after printing.
