Modified RepRapPro Fisher Delta Carriage
thingiverse
Modified carriage design from the source, upgraded to enhance performance and reliability. This revised version features captive locking nuts both inside and outside the part, along with two M3 threaded rods, each measuring 20mm in length, that are screwed into the part through these secure nuts. The hardware assembly is clearly visible in the accompanying picture. Fine-tuning is achieved by adjusting the threaded rod and the outer locknut; for further details, refer to http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1034390. Improved stability in this modification comes from positioning the locknut centrally within the part, thereby preventing balls from loosening due to vibration. Don't forget to apply threadloc to steel balls once they have been assembled. Here is a list of parts required per carriage: 2x M3x20 Threaded rods (or grub screws), complete with hex sockets at one end, 4x M3 Nyloc nuts, 2x M3 washers, and 2x six-millimeter diameter balls drilled to accept an M3 thread. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap, Printer Model: Fisher 1, Rafts: No, Supports: No, Resolution: 0.2mm, Infill Percentage: 20%. Notes: Printed successfully at full speed with a layer height of 0.2mm on the Fisher 1.
