Parts have been altered to utilize a T8 Lead Screw instead of a 5mm threaded rod. To accommodate this change, the T8 mounting holes were shifted approximately 3mm away from the 8mm smooth rod. The X carriage has been stripped of extruder and hot end components, transforming it into a flat mounting plate for tools. Additionally, the X carriage now features a mount for an 8mm inductive bed sensor. The pen holder assembly employs parts sourced from a DVD drive. The pen holder glides along two 3mm smooth rods with no springs or rubber bands required; merely the weight of the pen and pen holder suffices to achieve a smooth line. The clamps are designed specifically for use with fine point Sharpies. For components that hold stepper motors, ABS or PETG material is recommended; PLA is acceptable for other parts.
