Modified Precision Piezo Orion Bottom Mount
thingiverse
I've made some tweaks to the original design that boost repeatability and mechanical stability. I'm employing red 40-A-L o-rings at the bottom of the piezo, with approximately 20% compression achieved by tightening the four mounting screws. The mount has been modified to ensure o-ring compression holds the hotend steady while maintaining lighter contact on the peizo compared to before. The mount should be printed with a 0.1mm layer height to guarantee precise distance between the o-rings and contact ring. My coordinate system is inverted, so the STL appears upside down; simply flip it in your slicer for correct orientation.
