Never really cared for the stock fan shroud. Thought it blew too much air directly at the nozzle and heat block, forcing me to crank up the temps to get my printer working smoothly. Plus, it was huge and obstructed my view of the nozzle while printing. Seen some clever airflow setups that direct air more efficiently, but they all seem to wrap around and block the nozzle from sight. Designed this one to fit snugly against the carriage and bring the airflow closer to where I need it most - right above the print area. Added a small block to ensure no air hits the nozzle itself. Took me three or four tries to get this final design just right, but it's working like a charm now. (the model images are actually of version #3, which was tweaked before I mounted and photographed it) *Note- Don't forget to check your layers in the slicer and rotate the model on the bed so support material runs front-to-back instead of side-to-side. It'll make removing those pesky supports a whole lot easier.*
