Modified Open/Closed Sign Parts (easier)

I've strategically incorporated flexibility into the flanged parts by adding cutouts, making assembly significantly less stressful and far more manageable. Additionally, attaching the extender directly to the right-side gear has eliminated the necessity for gluing, albeit at the expense of a minor loss of structural support in that area.
