Firstly, thank you for an exceptional design. I have re-designed the base and added a led holder to accommodate a couple of "T10 501 W5W interior WHITE Side light LED 11 WATT HIGH POWER CREE LED" from ebay. I also added two 3mm white led's. So now, I have three modes of light: night light with two 3mm leds, and med/high brightness with either one or two of the 11 watt led's. All powered by a 12v cable, this will hang in our tent for our upcoming camping holiday later on in the year. There is some room to add perhaps a lipo battery to run the two 3mm led's for the night light, I've not added them yet though! Instructions Print all parts at 0.2 layer height, and around 20% infill density. Parts may need scaling to fit your print bed, scale Replicator 2X parts to 0.9. The switch mounting plate is printed at full resolution. Use silver ABS for structural components and clear abs for the globe. If you have a heated chamber, even better; left and right parts may warp a little if not properly aligned. Some heat is produced by the LED's; it's unclear if PLA would handle it well enough. I've included both .stl and .dwg files for your enjoyment.
