A modification to the original extruder mount is necessary to accommodate a BLTouch sensor. The design specs for the BLTouch require its base to be positioned 8.3mm above the tip of the hotend. My hotend measures 63mm from the top of the heatsink to the tip, indicating a specific requirement for this modification. Several adjustments have been made to the extruder mount design: the filament guide path has been extended from the hobbled bolt to the heatsink; m3 nuts have been added to the hotend clamp screws; breakaway disks were incorporated to prevent warping when printed; and a 2.7mm spacer was added for compatibility with various hotend tip lengths.
