This is just a male-male, female-female and 4 way connector for the Thomas the Train wooden train sets as well as the generic ones. I have them separated into the three pieces together as well as all individually. I have used these with my son's train set successfully; it has worked both with the Thomas the Train official train set as well as the generic ones (it is sized a little closer to the generic ones).
