Modified Budmen Face Shield For Casting
grabcad
Hi everyone, I'm following up on my initial build video here: https://youtu.be/kjGjm7C2LOQ. After inspecting some of my components, I noticed that they were cracking near the headrest area due to a thin wall design. To prevent this issue, I updated the original file from budmen.com with a thicker headrest. Simply 3D print the revised file as you normally would and create another mold. I also enhanced the design by adding a thicker brim. Although it's not necessary for casting parts, a robust brim provides extra space to fill up halfway without overflowing the sides. I'd like to extend my gratitude to the team at budmen.com for their original design and timely assistance during this challenging period!
