Modified 50 A Battery Disconnect Holder
thingiverse
Thanks to ktech_stl for their original submission. They were kind enough to upload the SolidWorks file which I brought into Creo to make my remix. The photos show a comparison to the original and the modified version. This modified version includes a slightly larger Battery Connector opening (lower portion) to allow the mating connector to fit in the opening without binding on the holder. I also beefed up the surrounding walls and the surface that the connector mounts to. The mounting plate area was increased in thickest (from 1/8" to 5/32") to offer more material thickness to the mounting hole counterbores. Please see the original version for the list of hardware. I DO NOT recommend drilling 1-3/4" (44 mm) diameter hole for mounting. The opening for the Battery Connector is not centered on the face plate (where the four mounting holes are; and, with the added material the hole size would need to be 2" (51 mm). I recommend cutting a square hole (1.62" x 0.97" (41 mm x 24.6 mm)) and transferring the holes from the Holder.
