Modified 3D Scanner/Turntable Rig (work-in-progress)

UPDATE: June 22, 2014 - I've upgraded my RC car motor to a full rotation servo, eliminating the need for an internal battery and shrinking the entire casing. I've performed numerous events where I scanned guests and printed their figurines as keepsakes. However, some attendees complained of dizziness and disorientation while standing on the turntable. After researching online, I've decided to modify the turntable so it rotates around the 3D scanner instead of the objects/people. To enhance my design, I've added an adjustable extension arm for the camera dolly and a vertical track for the 3D scanner that can be controlled remotely. The motor currently used with the RC receiver spins too fast, which is why this feature is still under development. Below are two videos showcasing what I'm trying to achieve. I'll need to spend more time working on the 3D scanner track before I can obtain good quality scans. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=613308525406751 https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=634132603324343
