These modifications are derived from AzzA's Z Extensions and Spacers for Wanhao Duplicator i3, Cocoon Create, and Maker Select. The original extensions can cause bending of the side tabs on the x crossbeam and rod retainers when installed. To address this issue, these files have increased thickness added to the upper part of the z extensions and spacers, which are placed between the z towers and rod retainers. Additionally, there are spacers available for the original z extensions designed by AzzA. Printing Notes: I encountered difficulties printing the z extensions with supports in place, particularly in the area that was not extended. This resulted in a 0.2mm discrepancy, representing an 18% deviation from the intended design. It is unclear whether adjusting print settings would yield better results, as I am still new to this process. To minimize supports and achieve a smoother finish, consider flipping the orientation of the flat extensions. If you prefer the peg version and want to avoid sanding the affected area, use the spacers instead.
