Modification of Original MK3S+ Extruder to fits Slice Engeneering Copperhead Hotend
prusaprinters

I tried a "little" workaround on the original Prusa MK3S+ files, so that the Slice Engineering Copperhead Hotend fits on my Prusa i3MK3S(+) with MMU2S

I upgraded my MK3S to the new “plus” iteration, so i had to modify the original MK3S+ files, because there didn't exist an matching template in the Community on those days.

Also i strengthened the mount of the SuperPINDA, because the original mount wasn't stable enough so that the sensor mount tilted with the time. (I regularly torment him with borderline temperatures above 120°C at Heatbed and 300°C at Hotend)

The fanduct of the hotendfan is now adapted to the Copperhead with an silcone sock and i added 5mm in Z for better cooling resulutions.

!!Attention!!

Modification of the firmware is needed, because the value of the Z-axis differs from the original MK3S+ value (in my case a value of Z_MAX_POS 205 works fine.

I printed all parts in Polycarbonat for a better temperatur stability, but feel free in your choice of material usage ^^
