ModiBot optimized for Ender 3

ModiBot optimized for Ender 3

I've spent hours tweaking the ModiBot frame, and I think I've finally cracked the code. Until I'm absolutely sure this is a finished product, but hopefully it works for someone. It performs best with strong filament: ABS, PLA+, PETG, HIPS, Nylon, PC. PLA can be forced to work, but you'll need to frequently replace parts. Resin isn't tough enough to have the grip it needs but it looks beautiful. SLS isn't really an option for individuals, but you can buy Mo in SLS from Shapeways. And the Molded version is only slightly stronger than PLA (in my opinion except the feet which are far stronger in the molded version). See the original that this is based on here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2222384 All credit for the original idea goes to Thingiverse user kidmechano. If you like what you see, please consider donating. As always, happy printing. Update: I've upgraded the ball part of the ball and socket connection, and removed all unnecessary holes. This will print better than the original ModiBot on all FDM machines, but may need tolerances adjusted for unique filaments or printers.
