Top is easily replaceable in case of damage. I included 2 styles of followers. The standard one which is the style my older Black Dog machine mags have. Follower 2 is similar to the CMMG follower and will catch the bolt when empty. Both work perfectly but the bolt catch follower will inevitably get chewed up and will need to be replaced every so often to ensure reliable feeding and to pop up through the feed lips. Print Settings: * Print body upside down. (base plate side up) * No Supports should be needed for the main body, I've been able to print it with No Supports perfectly. * Minimum print recommendation for main body is 4-6 walls with 7 percent grid or cubic subdivision (It's a good balance of strength with minimal material use). I suggest you play around with your flow settings so you get smooth outer layers. I find lowering my flow to around 95% with my Inner walls at 92-93% gives a much smoother print with less noticeable layer lines. * The rest of the parts are printed solid. * PLA works great. If you can print it, Polycarbonate is better (this is what most commercial mags are made of or Nylon 6). Stay away from carbon or glass fiber materials, they might be too rough and cause feeding issues. Hardware: 4) M3 heat inserts 4) M3 x 8 or 10 socket head screws. M3 x 6 will also work 1) 22 magazine spring. 0.370 OD .312 ID .022 DIAMETER x 11 inch or something similar. https://borebuddy.com/product/ar22-2xmag-springs/ https://www.blackdogmachinellc.net/ciener-replacement-recoil-spring.aspx
