A sleek lampshade for any light source you prefer. To attach the shade to its cap, you'll need: - 3 M5 x 10mm screws - 3 M5 inserts (I used inserts from Ruthex) The surface is finished with extensive sanding and painting. If you want to use the same light source as I did, print _Bulb.stl_, _Bulb lid.stl_ and _Bulb diffusor.stl_. The diffuser should be printed with a suitable filament. In the bulb, there is space for a PCB and some electronics, and on its outside you can mount an LED-strip (just drill some holes for cables). I used 60 WS2812b LEDs of a 144LEDs/m strip and an ESP8266 on a Wemos D1 Mini to control the LEDs. To keep the bulb hanging straight, I used a polished 85mm long piece of 10mm outside and 8mm inside diameter steel rod. If you print this thing, make it better or something – I would love to hear about that!
