¡Bienvenidos a CDMX! As a tribute to Mexico's vibrant capital city, MiniWorld 3D presents an extensive collection of its iconic landmarks and celebrated buildings! This massive project is divided into sections, each featuring a few structures tied together by a common theme. Part 5 focuses on Modern marvels that redefine what buildings look like and delve into the artistic and sculptural aspects of architecture. This section includes the Soumaya Museum and Twin Towers in Polanco, along with the Torres de Satélite. The Museo Soumaya was unveiled in 2011, designed by renowned architect Fernando Romero. As a non-profit, private museum, it boasts one of Mexico's largest and most significant collections of historical art, spanning from pre-Hispanic times to European masterpieces. Its unique shape is clad in hexagonal aluminum plates. The twin towers of Polanco, officially known as "Residencial Del Bosque," were crafted by architect César Pelli, also the designer of the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, resulting in a striking resemblance. Completed in 1996, they stand at an impressive 128 meters tall. Lastly, the Torres de Satélite are groundbreaking large-scale urban sculptures that have become an integral part of Mexico's architectural heritage. Designed by celebrated Mexican architect Luis Barragán, painter Jesús Reyes Ferreira, and sculptor Mathias Goeritz, these colorful landmarks were unveiled in 1958. The tallest sculpture stands at a height of 52 meters. Notably, all the models within the Mexico City series are meticulously scaled to ensure accuracy, allowing you to compare their sizes and heights with ease! MiniWorld 3D is thrilled to bring these architectural wonders to life, spreading joy among residents of Mexico City!
