Modern handle for doors or drawers. A sleek cylindrical handle with a groove for optimal finger grip. Compact footprint, rapid printing time without hassle, sturdy construction. Fits 3.5 to 4.5mm wood screws (4 to 8 imperial gauge). Can be tapped into M3 to M4 threaded screws (gauge 5 to 8 imperial) without a hitch. Installation: A logo at the top helps with leveling: position the handle so the loop is facing down. Pre-drill a hole in the door or drawer front. Choose preferably a button-head screw. Ensure the handle passes smoothly through the door or drawer hole. Insert it into the hole, then align the knob end on the screw pin and start turning. Before locking the screw, verify that the knob is perfectly aligned. If necessary, rotate the knob to make adjustments. Then hold the handle firmly while tightening the screw until it secures. Avoid overtightening the screw. Enjoy your new handle. Print Settings Rafts: No rafts are needed. Resolution: Best print resolution: 0.3mm Nozzle, 0.2 layers. Infill: Use a moderate infill of 20 to 30% for added strength. Notes: Recommended printing settings: - Nozzle 0.3mm - Walls 1.2mm (4) - Top and bottom surface: plain at 1.2mm (6) Use any filament except flex filaments. Nylon filaments offer extra strength. Post-Printing Apply two coats of automotive-grade plastic dressing. Avoid greasy dressings. My preferred option is Poorboy's World Natural look. Apply the first coat, let it cure for five minutes. Buff the excess with a microfiber cloth, then let it dry for at least thirty minutes. Apply the second coat, let it cure for five minutes. Buff the excess with a microfiber cloth, then let it dry for at least thirty minutes. How I Designed This Why did I choose this handle shape? I aimed for simplicity and understanding in my design, focusing on function above all else. If something is simple, it should work well across many different situations, don't you agree? I wanted dimensions that would fit comfortably into both a child's and an adult's hand, while keeping the handle as compact as possible to avoid snagging clothes if you walk by. My goal was to create a small yet elegant handle that can fit drawers of all sizes – from small to large. I designed the largest notch possible for optimal grip without weakening the part. This design has been tested on heavy drawers up to 60mm (24 inches) wide, with no issues arising. While I believe this knob is strong enough for larger drawers, it's a good idea to install two of them on heavy drawers for added comfort. The final improvements were making it smooth to touch and comfortable. This marks my second attempt, V2, which should be the ultimate version as I've made all necessary adjustments.
