Modern Jeans / Clothes Hanger - refresh your wardrobe
thingiverse
I picked up this hanger at a large store and thought it would be great to have one like it at home for hanging my jeans, since I liked its style when I saw it in the store. After browsing around but not finding anything similar, I decided to design one myself. The dimensions were based on my original model, but I made some minor improvements to my design. I experimented with various designs to achieve flexibility, and after 10 prints, I finally found a solution to the problem. Please read on for more information about what to do after printing. If you have flexible filament, I'd appreciate it if you could try it out and give me your feedback. Print settings: I didn't use any special settings; instead, I printed at 20%, 50%, and 100% infill. The best results I got were with 50% and 100% infill, but your printer might produce different results, so please feel free to test it out. I recommend using 50% to 100% infill; if you need a larger version, just scale it up. After printing: Once the print is complete, use a gas torch or lighter to carefully heat the middle of the bottom part until it can be bent into position to close. It doesn't take much heat, so please be cautious. After it cools down, your hanger will be ready to use.
