modern flower planter - tinkercad

The concept revolves around designing a unique planter that not only looks modern but also simplifies the process of caring for plants. To achieve this, I envisioned an upgraded pot with a clever design. It's not about incorporating complex mechanisms, but rather focusing on straightforward yet effective ideas. In the green container, you place the flowers, and in the brown container beneath it, you put the soil for crops. When watering the flowers, some of the water will trickle down to the ground through holes in the flower pot, while at the same time, a small amount of soil will enter the green container through its own set of holes. This clever setup allows excess water to be absorbed by the soil, which then serves as a nutrient-rich medium for the flowers. I believe this innovative planter can add considerable visual interest to any vegetable garden. The design is inspired by traditional flower pots but with a unique twist that incorporates a simple yet effective mechanism. My gratitude goes out to my parents for their input and encouragement throughout this project. I also drew inspiration from various potted plants, including the Flower 2 project designed by Rebecca Wilkes, which I adapted and upgraded for my own design. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to print out my model due to my printer's limitations in terms of size and quality. However, I hope you enjoy the concept and find it useful.
