Endev is from the planet Slurg in a region of the galaxy still unknown to humans. From a young age, he grew up cleaning and identifying metals and diamonds in the mines of his home planet, his race's stature and complexion making him the perfect candidate to assist miners in case of collapses or any other inconvenience. He escapes to the city, seeking luxury, but ends up getting into trouble as soon as he arrives. He falls into the hands of a mafioso, who sees his exceptional skill with jewels and decides to keep him against his will, even modifying parts of his body to tie him to his job for life. Meanwhile, Endev brings wealth that has lost its value for his captor. What Endev longs for most is to escape and leave it all behind, no longer caring about money or jewels, which he now abhors after being led towards this fate. He keeps a low profile but strives to stay optimistic and often tries to be funny, as in the world where he operates, there's nothing left for him but to be a jester for his bosses.
