Model Train Cradle

I'm passionate about model railroading, and I've been eager to create a cradle that makes working on my models easier. This 3D design is specifically intended to simplify the process. Here are some of its key features: Rounded storage containers for screws are integrated into the design. Under these containers, slots are provided to hold strong circular magnets with a diameter of 32mm and a thickness of 3mm. A convenient storage area for precision screwdrivers is located on the back side. Key slots for drywall screws allow the cradle to be hung on the wall when not in use. Pillars have been added to the front edge, enabling the future attachment of flexible helping hands. A hole with a diameter of 1/4 inch and an ACME thread has also been included. To prevent the plastic from being slippery, single-sided foam tape will be applied for protection and grip. This cradle is designed to fit the Ender 3 build plate perfectly. However, model railroaders working with larger O scale trains may find that two cradles are necessary.
